Truworths Clerk Vacancies 2024 Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Daily accurate distribution of petty cash within petty cash policy requirements
• Weekly cash up and expense allocation
• Weekly cash ordering from service provider ensuring approved float is maintained
• Ensure availability for accurate cash handover by service provider
• Raise any discrepancies with the service provider promptly
• Ensure accurate and efficient payment to the cash service provider for cash delivered
• Maintain the list of approved signatories
• Efficient filing of all petty cash orders
• Administer stores unallocated petty cash and queries
• Process Finance stationery ordering
• Assist in the process of till float confirmation
Qualifications and Experience

• Matric
• Diploma e.g. Bookkeeping advantageous
• Experience in a finance retail environment advantageous
• Experience working in an administrative capacity
Competencies • Very strong computer skills: Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) & Oracle Financials
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to interact confidently with superiors and customers
• Ability to handle and resolve queries accurately and timeously
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain calm when working under pressure
• Self-starter, self-motivated and self-managed
• Organised and focused
• Attention to detail
• Good energy and attitude
• Ability to multi task
